So I had this long kinda thought out entry with the last one. The last real one...since Baovan made that update without my knowing...but the events that have transpired thus has eclipsed it so thoroughly.

Following that night...we got a couple of packs of beer (Blue Moon & Bud Light Golden Wheat--which is really good btw), funyuns, and played pictionary! Huzzah! Got pretty buzzed and watched movies and stuff. It was a nice night in. Went to bed around midnight since Baovan had work and Anna had school and all was fine. At 6am, I woke up with a horrible pain in my stomach and proceeded to throw up.

Basically...I threw up 15x last week on Wednesday. Sarven actually went into the studio so I called Ken over to keep me company and take care of me since he was studying. I was pretty much bedridden all day except for the times I had to run to the bathroom to throw up. Around dinner time Ken got hungry so he went out to get some food and brought back some chicken broth and soup for me. Heated up a bit of the broth and had a few sips before I couldn't stomach it anymore. Oh, right before Ken got back, I threw up all the Gatorade I had been drinking all day. Then after the broth I threw up some more. It was like for every time I should have thrown up after a night of heavy drinking but didn't...totally came to take its toll on me. It was disgusting. My bile turned from yellow to a dark green. Ew. Later on, when I was able to get up I walk into the kitchen to see if the broth needed to be refrigerated or not and I notice the expiration date: Oct 21 2009. Super fail. Checked the soup that he brought back...expiration date was Feb 11 2009. The fck? I'm the kind of person who checks the expiration labels on all the things I buy...so for that I blame Ken. But wtf is the store doing with expired canned food on their shelves for this long?

Anyway...the vomiting seemed to cease the next day...just a lot of nausea and some leaky butt. Then the following day [Friday] was nonstop peeing out of my butt ALL DAY. I was able to eat some solids and that was nice. Did I mention that Sarven was eating all this delicious food in front of me?! Foods I couldn't eat :( But he made it up by making garlic mashed potatoes from scratch for me. I was trying to follow the PBRAT diet...things you're supposed to eat when you have leaky butt. Potatoes, bananas, rice, apples, and toast. Toward the end of the day it was pretty much just water coming out of my butt, so we got some immodium in me and it didn't do jack. I was a sad girl.

Saturday morning I had two more bouts of diarrhea and then I felt up to leaving the house. We had a wine & cheese party and it was great! I love cheese! It wasn't very diverse...but it was good, and so I'm happy. Three different reislings, a chardonnay, a sauvignon blanc, and a Carnivale red. There was gouda, bleu cheese, brie, stripey jack, sharp cheddar, and monterey jack cubes I think. With table water crackers! I started feeling queasy again and fell asleep in the middle of the party but it was okay. Oh, right--Sarven also made a whole dinner for my family before the wine & cheese thing. Meatloaf (his first time making it!!), alfredo, mashed potatoes, and sauteed asparagus! It was sooo yummy. My mama loved it.

So the stomach flu hit right as my cold was leaving me...and now I feel pretty normal...just waiting for my bowel movements to return to their usual schedule.

It's the first snuggle weather of the season!! I'm craving Subway's meatball marinara...I can see it steaming hot from the meatball tray right now!! Rawr. Rainy Day Special!??!!!!! But mac n cheese is good too :)

Finances has got me down...it looks like a bleak snowboarding season for me. I need a job. I don't remember the last time I was put out of work this long.
